1927
Began operations as a workshop named Kato Seiforge in Sanjo, Niigata.
1945
Officially established Hokuriku Kogyo Co., Ltd.
1978
Established the trading company Hokuriku Sogyo Co., Ltd
1992
Established a joint venture in Indonesia, now known as PT. Komatsu Undercarriage Indonesia
2002
Established the manufacturing company Hokuriku Seiki Co., Ltd.
2020
Established a subsidiary in Vietnam named Hokuriku Vietnam Co., Ltd.
2025
Launched the sub-brand NIGATA.
